We continue to build on our vision for a performing arts center with our second season of Radium Runway, a unique placemaking project and series of arts programming designed to inspire, educate, and experiment.

Inspire conversations about issues impacting our community through an artistic lens.

Educate our community about the arts with programs that are accessible, eclectic, and transformative.

Experiment through partnerships with artists presenting innovative works.

In 2023, Radium Runway marked the debut of our distinctive outdoor events venue, introducing an expanded series that featured intimate concerts headlined by the Young Musicians Choral Orchestra with Elena Pinderhughes, John Brothers Piano Company, and Ensemble Mik Nawooj’s Hip Hop Orchestra Experience. We embraced the Bay Area's street culture with a hip-hop dance battle by Turf Inc. and an enchanting evening of live storytelling from celebrated tale tellers. Additionally, Radium Runway hosted impactful cultural festivals, including The Donut Fun Run, Beer City Alameda, and the West End Arts District’s Fiesta Alameda. Stay tuned for more exciting events and programming in Spring '24.

We believe in the power of performing arts to bring people together on common ground through shared passions—inspiring empathy and social change.

Radium envisions a performance venue and gathering place featuring artists from our vibrant community and celebrated performers from around the globe, presenting music, dance, opera, theater, and literary arts.

Radium Runway activates our vision for performing arts at Alameda Point—accessible, eclectic, and transformative.
